Formation Skydiving (FS) is the foundation of competitive team skydiving, where athletes build precise formations in freefall by gripping one another in pre-determined sequences. The USNA Parachute Team trains extensively in FS to compete at the USPA Collegiate Nationals and other competitions.

Demonstration jumps showcase the precision and professionalism of military parachutists through aerial displays at public events, ceremonies, and airshows. These jumps represent the Naval Academy's commitment to excellence, leadership, and public outreach.

Sport Accuracy is a canopy discipline focused on landing as close as possible to a designated target. Jumpers must account for wind, altitude, and canopy control to execute a precise final approach. This discipline emphasizes consistency, focus, and technical flying skills, and is a key competitive event in skydiving.
The USNA Parachute Team is based at the United States Naval Academy and primarily supports Brigade sporting events and activities on the Yard. Additionally, the team conducts demonstrations across the Mid-Atlantic region, including Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.
